Beautiful ruby red, deep bluish. The nose is expressive of the very pure fruit: fresh red berry & black fruits. The mouth has good density. It is very mineral notes shale & slate, smoke & more notes still many fruit stand. Good length with smooth finish.

Vinification | Temperature control is constant to ensure the correct development of the alcoholic fermentation, lasting up to 18 days or more for the old vines selected for the Elisabeth Chambellan cuvée. This wine is aged 18 months in oak barrels. |
History of Estate(s) | For generations the Boisson family has been both wine growers and blacksmiths. The family nickname of “Caboche” derives from the Old Provencal word for horseshoe nails, by which our estate is still known. |
