Why we love Abatilles

Abatilles water comes from the Sainte-Anne des Abatilles spring which was discovered in 1923 while French engineer Louis Le Marie was drilling for oil. At the time the Bordeaux Academy of Medicine recognized the spring for having medicinal qualities and declared it “health water”. For over 30 years the spring was used as a spa where guests would come for its beneficial effects. in 2013, a Bordeaux wine producer and merchant bought the spring and invested in a highly efficient production facility which is what stands today.

The mineral water has an unparalleled taste and with zero nitrates it has a very balanced composition. The Bordeaux bottle looks great standing next to bottles of wine and can add some extra presentation to a dinner party.
